I am thinking about listing my tiny home on rental platform to earn some money and I am trying to figure out if it is worth the effort before I commit. I would love to hear from other tiny home owners about their experiences hosting guests on their property. Are you finding that your listing stays pretty well booked throughout the year or do you have a lot of empty days and low occupancy? And since you are allowing strangers onto your private property, have you had any bad experiences, like dealing with difficult guests or any horror stories I should be prepared for or has it been mostly positive and simple? Thanks for the feedback!

You need to consider your home's location and the season. Make sure you set clear house rules and use a trusted platform. Don't forget to only communicate using the platform's messaging. Good luck!

@dawsonlems is right! You will also need to consider the occupancy rate. Since it tends to vary with seasons you may have busy months and slower ones. This is normal for short term rentals.

You are all right! I just talked to my friend and he recommended that my tiny home is in a great location and I should take advantage of listing it. I am still thinking about it maybe I need to decide which platform I'll be using.
