The multi-purpose furniture trap

Do you actually use your convertible furniture or do you find yourself just leaving it in one position? I built a couch that turns into a dining table but it is such a hassle to move every single day that I just leave it as a couch. I think it is better to have dedicated spaces even if they are tiny. Moving cushions and folding legs gets old after the first month.
