This is a Tiny Home insurance question. I am having a huge problem finding homeowners or property insurance for my tiny home because it doesn't have a permanent foundation. I live on 15 acres where I am homesteading with goats, chickens, and rabbits, but getting insurance is difficult because of the lack of a traditional foundation. My area sees frequent wildfires, and I have had three fires near my property in the last two years, partly due to careless neighbors, so insurance is a real necessity for me. Does anyone with a similar tiny house setup know of a reliable company or insurance source that is willing to cover a non-foundation home, especially one that is located on a working homestead? Are there specific types of policies, like an RV policy or special hazard insurance, that might cover the building itself if standard homeowners insurance won't work? This is really important to me so I'll need all the help. Thank you.
