I need some serious layout help because I have to fit eight people into a small, long space, which is an old hay loft that's about 525 square feet. The space is 35 ft long and 15 ft deep, and part of the ceiling is low because it slopes down to a three-foot wall edge. I need to make this work for 5 adults and 3 tall teenagers, but most tiny house plans are square and don't match my narrow, long area. I think using the sloped part for sleeping makes sense instead of traditional lofts and while we need some privacy, I want to avoid wasting space on a big hallway. Two bathrooms would be great but I can compromise on that. We are fine eating and watching videos together but I'm really struggling with how to divide the space into practical, livable areas. Can anyone offer ideas or a sketch for a floor plan that works for this odd, long shape?
