tiny house in vegas

I've always dreamed of living in Las Vegas, and finally, I'm moving there next year. I want to live in a nice, tiny house there.
Does anyone have experience living in a tiny home in the Las Vegas area? Are the local rules as relaxed as they seem, or is code enforcement a nightmare? What's the reality like out there?

Exciting move! The Vegas tiny home scene is improving but still has hurdles. Nevada's SB 150 forces the county to allow tiny homes in designated zones. But from what I've heard, enforcement and location are still tricky since many existing THOWs are still treated as RVs, so they're stuck in the pricey RV parks. So for a legal and nice setup, it's best to get a new, professionally managed tiny house community and to check your exact location's zoning!

Afaik, the rules vary a lot depending on the county and city, and in Clark County where Las Vegas is located the codes turn out to be stricter than they first seem. If your plan is to live in a tiny house, I recommend checking with the county planning office before you buy or build.

I think I've read something like this before but I didn;t pay much attention. Somewhere like the Las Vegas' downtown area for community livingor the option to buy or lease land in the surrounding Las Vegas Valley or near communities like Searchlight or Crystal. Good luck to your move.
