I have found a fantastic, fully-furnished tiny house for a really low price but there is one big problem and that is moving it.
The original owner built it to stay put but now they want to sell it and the total height is 17 ft but the maximum transport height where I need to take it is only 13.5 ft because of overhead wires. This means I would have to cut off the lofted part of the roof, use a crane to remove it, move it on a separate trailer, and then put it all back together again. And I also have to deal with the electrical wiring in the walls when cutting the roof section, plus the trailer tires need replacing before it can even be towed anywhere. But since the selling price is low, I have a budget to hire pros to do this complicated work. Has anyone here ever taken a tall tiny house apart like this just to move it, and do you have any tips or recommended professionals who specialize in this kind of extreme tiny house relocation?
