So I found this really sweet tiny house fully equipped and the price is low because it's so hard to move, which means I have some cash to hire help, but there's a big problem.
The house is 15 feet tall but the wires overhead on the road mean the maximum transport height is only 13.5 feet so I'd have to cut the lofted roof off, lift it with a crane, and transport it separate from the rest of the house, then reattach it later. And that's not even getting into the electrical wiring inside the walls that I also have to deal with and the trailer tires definitely need replacing before it goes anywhere. But I'm willing to try this if it's actually doable. Has anyone here ever dealt with cutting a tiny house roof for transport and putting it back on?
