This was built near a place I lived at a few years ago. It has electricity, I could see a ceiling fan in it, etc.

I've always liked tree houses as they seem to be a natural Tiny Home. I've thought of building one on my river bank sitting right above waters edge. But it would only be for a summer retreat.

My biggest concern would be with lightning strikes. Lightning tends to strike high or towering objects so the choice of Tree would have a lot to do with one's safety.

Mentioned above is life in the Fire Towers. I remember seeing a film at a corporation I once worked for that had it's own Forest products division. In the film it showed the legs of the chairs the observers sit on where legs had these thick glass disk (called furniture coasters) they rested on for insulators in the case of lightning. I'm sure the tower had a lightning rod but still this secondary insulation was used for the observers added safety.

When I was young my father built a small treehouse for me and my siblings and he also added a slide. We used to play in our small treehouse and I had a lot of wonderful memories. It was destroyed by a storm and my father did not attempt to rebuild it since we are about to move to another home.
