What changed the most about Christmas as you’ve grown older?

I used to keep a list of things I wanted, but now getting presents doesn’t really matter to me anymore.

I miss having the entire family home. Waking up to busy morning and opening of gifts. Now that we have our own families, it's getting harder to get everyone together.

When I was a kid, Christmas was all about waiting for Santa and seeing what presents I got. Now that I’m older and have kids, it;s different. I get excited to watch them open their gifts and enjoy spending time with them during the holidays.

Well, I'll be 63 in May. My three grown kids, ages 36, 34, and 30, don't call on Christmas and don't respond to text messages. When I was young, people were more thoughtful and families were generally more loving.
