I recently moved my tiny home from a valley to a mountain top in Colorado and the wind is much stronger than I expected. The house shakes a lot during high gusts and I am worried about it tipping over. I need to find a way to anchor it to the ground or to sturdy poles to keep it stable. I am not sure if I should attach the tie downs to the trailer frame or to the actual structure of the house. Most people in high wind areas use earth augers or concrete footings to stay safe. But I want to hear from others who have dealt with mountain weather to see what works best for a mobile setup.
