Frame camper tiny home

Hello eveyone, I hope someone can help. My husband is a licensed general contraction but with zero experience building metal trailer frames, and neither do I. I just help with with things. I have a 24' camper frame and we're thinking of building a tiny home on it. Would anyone know if it needs more reinforcing before we begin? Any step by step guide will help!

Start with the VIN plate or axle tags to see the weight rating and make sure the brakes and hubs can handle a tiny home. You need tto reinforce the tongue with a longer Aframe and a center tube that runs back to the first or second crossmember. Add outriggers where the walls will sit and secure the subfloor with through bolts and welded tie downs. Use load rated tires then put electric brakes on all axles and install a good breakaway kit. Finally, place water tanks and batteries low and close to the axles to balance the weight. Good luck!

Afaik, a 24 foot camper frame is designed to carry the weight of a camper shell. This is usually lighter than a full tiny home structure.
Like what @valak* said, it is recommended to reinforce it before building. It is also better to treat the frame as the foundation of your project. This will give you extra support early on and will save trouble later.
