My wife and I are building a small 14x14 A-frame tiny house and we have almost no money left in the budget... so I am looking for ideas on really low-cost wood stoves to use for heating. I do not have the time or the skill to build a stove myself, so I need to buy something ready-made but everything I have looked at so far seems way too expensive for our budget. And I need a small stove that will not take up too much space or put out too much heat for such a tiny space, but it has to be safe of course. I am hoping someone out there knows of a reliable, budget-friendly stove option that I can buy for cheap, or maybe a place that sells decent used ones that are already certified for safety. Certified second-hand works too.

red, safety is definitely the #1 concern when dealing with tiny spaces and wood stoves. You need a true mini stove, not just the small one, to avoid baking yourself out of that 14 X 14 space!
check out brands like Cubic Mini Wood Stoves (they make the Cub and Grizzly) or the Salamander Hobbit Stove

Great! I talked to my wife and we decided to get a mini stove. I also did some research about it and this is what we really need. I will let her decide what to get.
