Any new idea that works is always a good one. I found a book called Earth Batteries That Work online and thought I might try something new and have a few projects to play with through the winter.
So now this old technology is lighting an LED lamp in my home and a yard light all by some metal rods, dirt and wetting it down. After spending money for gas for the generator when running out of solar just to have lights and eventually have one to charge my phone, our ancestors had it figured out.
No more flashlights stumbling around in the dark to find the bathroom either.
I thought I would share. I am building more of them.
This my yard light, but will make it fancier later. Test one complete.
