Installing outdoor steps at entrance

I’m planning to add a proper set of outdoor steps for my tiny home entrance, and I’d love to get some advice from folks and for now, it’s just a makeshift platform, but it’s time for something a bit more solid and weatherproof. I’m weighing a few options like simple wooden steps, a small framed deck with integrated stairs, or maybe something more modular that I can move if needed. Durability is very important here since it’ll be fully exposed to the elements, but I also want it to look good and match the vibe of the home

You might want to seriously consider composite decking for your treads, even if you use a pressure-treated wood frame. Wood steps require annual sanding and staining to look good, but composite is zero-maintenance and super weatherproof! A small, framed deck with integrated stairs is usually the most stable and weatherproof option and provides a great landing. If you need portability, look into pre-welded steel frame steps with composite treads! They're heavy but genuinely movable and incredibly durable. Modular steps are a clever idea for a tiny home, allowing you to move or sell the unit separately if needed, and many prefabricated aluminum options already have a modern, clean look that might suit your home’s aesthetic without any painting or staining.
