Converting a shed into a tiny home

The house we bought several years ago had a shed that the previous owner used for tools, mowers, bike, the works. I was using it for a while, but last year I build a massive garage and moved everything there, leaving the shed empty. I'm thinking about converting it to a tiny home, so I wanted to ask if something like this is even doable? It's a squarish shape around 12 by 13 feet and around 9 feet tall, this is base on what the previous owner told me about it, he said he made it himself, and never measured it to be specific.

Is this kind of a project doable?

If the shed wasn't built to code in the first place, should you even bother turning it into a living space or isnt it smarter (and safer) to tear it down and start from scratch?
